So I was just cruising through one of my settlements when I ran into Doc Weathers (think that's his name) and his caravan. Thing is one of them seems to have lost her clothes somewhere in the Commonwealth... Well, she lost everything but her leather armor anyway. Anyone else have this occur to them? If so has anyone found a fix for this yet? I mean I love streaking as much as the next guy, but looking at a cracked out old lady in nothing but her underwear every time I run into this guy is getting a bit weird...

The only thing I can think of that would cause this would be a slot conflict, but I can't think of anything that would replace the under-armor of a Caravan Guard without it being replaced. Unless you are on PC and have mods installed. If so, the only one I know of is a mod that adds separate boots; my friend downloaded one that did that, and it caused the dark-skinned lisbian living next door to the Sole Survivor to unequip her Summer Shorts and stand around in just a pair of shoes.

One of Cricket's Caravan Guards is also naked, well, partially. He only has his leather chest guard on.

Had that numerous times. But somehow they seem to find cloths again, since at the next encounter, they are dressed again.

I am on PC, but I'm not using any mods at all. It does seem like the other caravan guards are wearing the athletic outfit which doesn't allow leg armor pieces, and the guard in question who's naked happens to be wearing leather legs, arms, and torso. Wondering if maybe she was supposed to wear that outfit too and something happened to cause her to equip the legs? I've never seen an NPC pick up armor though so idk... :-/

This seems to happen sometimes. As others have mentioned, it seems to be a slot conflict which happens, because the clothing is assigned random, and if the equipment routine which equips the NPCs when they spawn uses a clothing item which blocks other clothing first. I had this case only once, when a raider chief should have equipped his Helmeted Cage Armor, but was naked instead, because he had some small head gear equipped first, which prevented the Cage Armor because of the integrated helmet. But is rather rare this happens.

I had that happen to one of Cricket's guards. He wasn't wearing his base clothes, just the layered armor pieces over his drawers. I figured he had been a bad, bad caravan guard and Cricket was punishing him.

Maybe, but Cricket seems to be the type to punish someone by reverse pickpocketting a mini-nuke. After all, she does promise to use part of the proceeds of any transaction with you to plant a little tree and then blow it up.

Happens on my PS4.

My last play through nearly ever caravan guard was like this by the time I was lvl 80ish. They never seemed to get cloths again after revisits just the outer armor.

I've seen this as well.

If your on PC, you should be able to check their inventory, give them gear, and equip it through the console.

1. select target

2. inv

3. get id of outfit that they should be wearing

4. equipitem

I ran into Doc Weathers near the Finch Farm and both of his guards were missing their clothes but were wearing armor. too funny

The Commonwealth must be a very hot and humid place. I often see the same caravan guards walking around wearing only their armor on the PS4. Once they shed their under garments they seem to stay that way. It is one of the funny glitches in my opinion. It would be perfect if their Q&A lines changed with their clothing choices of course.

Yep, seen this too..... Walking around barefoot, in armor..... Well, I suppose, it WAS a nice day......

Is everyone that is seeing the naked caravan guards of a high-ish level? Maybe the game starts giving the guards armor at a certain level, thus the conflicts?
