Were talking about a bakery that will sell cakes and stuff like that. It doesn't need a serious name, we're not talking about a name for a Jewelry Store or like Financial assistance company, it's cake. I don't even care for cakes or candy or anything like that, not because of the any health or class reason but I just don't care for it when I have a chance to eat a dessert, I'd rather just fill up on more from the food from dinner (tho I do love brownies).
I don't even see Nom Nom as a meme, I guess it is but when I see it I think more of the chewing noise aor kinda like talking to a little baby "oh you want some nom nom's?" but still it's not like he's naming it "u likz mudkipz? bakery"
Again it's just a bakery, I really really doubt that someone (or most people at least) who is looking to buy a cake is going to avoid that place just because it doesn't have a uptight business-guru style name. Now if I was looking for a Financial assistance company and I saw one called "Double Rainbow all the way" Financial assistance.....I probably wouldn't go to that one.
You've missed my point. This isn't
just a bakery. This is someone's business, someone's heart and soul, someone's blood, sweat and tears. No matter what you're selling, you end up selling the name, the brand first, your products will speak for themselves. And here I am, sitting at a computer terminal thousands of miles away seeing the appalling choice of names being considered. I'm not even going to argue that asking a gaming forum with a PG13+ rating isn't wise - but really, OP, I hope you're not seriously considering some of the advice that's been bandied about on this forum.
Tell you what. Treat this exercise like you're getting a tattoo. Visualise how its going to look, how its going to feel. And if in a years time you still want to call it Nom Nom Cupcakery, then go ahead. But know this - as soon as I hear wind of ANY business failure, I'm going to be the first to say 'I told you so'. Am I gaslighting you? Yes. But you did ask for my opinion and I've given it. Don't like it? Stiff bikkies.
