An obligatory post then for http://ebon.pyorre.net/

There are 12 core chapters, many based on the Tolkien Languages, so there is a chapter for most TES race;

Arthurian = Breton
Latin = Imperial
Finnish/Viking = Nord
Black Speech = Orc (you'll have to add the Gro/Gra)
Quenya/Sindarin = High Elf or Wood Elf

etc...

I used a name generator for my Bosmer because I'm not a lore buff but wanted a name that fit the lore this time as I plan to start paying more attention to it. Also thanks for posting OP eventhough I didn't need to use it :)

Very useful stuff. I have no trouble dreaming up names but this is cool

I can't wait to play through as a Redguard raised in the Imperial Province as an orphan-

Strange, I never use any generators at all. I kinda like to come up with the character concept, race, history, flaws. virtues... and then find a suitable name.

The Silgrad Tower name Generator comes up with this (in German)
The domain "www.silgrad.com" is not available.

It was there a week or so ago--I accidentally clicked on it and had to keep resizing my Firefox screen afterward for 2 days. I hope it's just temporary.

Thanks mate. I bookmarked the site, but haven't payed around with it much. Right before the game releases or when I'm in the creation screen, I will generate some names and pick a good one. I'm still not even sure what I race I want to start with.

This one is far better, and accurate to Elder Scrolls lore:

If by "far better" you mean "doesn't work at all" then yeah, that one is loads better.

Thanks OP, good stuff.

Also, names from Norse mythology seem to work pretty well if you're playing some kind of warriour-nord character. I presume Nords were derived from Norse :)

Does anyone know why Silgrad-Tower's website and name generator are down or not there anymore? Silgrad-Tower's website worked a couple of months ago.
