Name generator for you guys.

Does anyone know why Silgrad-Tower's website and name generator are down or not there anymore?

Edit: Sorry for the double post, how do you delete posts?

Another fun random name site is: http://www.squid.org/rpg-random-generator

You can set it for the type of name you want to generate--including names from "norway".

That's a good gen.

My name is already decided though. I used it as my alias for the site.

My guy will be a Nord called Heimdall Highlander. Named after the Norse God Heimdallr "The One Who Illuminates The World" who watches for the onset of the Ragnar?k from Himinbj?rg between the Burning Rainbow Bridge, the Bifr?st, and Heaven.

I just think he's a bloody cool lad and so I named my character after him.

The Highlander bit is because I'm Scottish and I thought I'd throw a little of my own heritage in there.

Thanks man I could really use this for mods since my names for npc's are usually a mixture of the people I know and who go to my school

The Khajiit names generated have titles attached already. A random Khajiit name would have the end (or middle if there's a suffix title) part of the name, but the title would reflect the Khajiit's current life.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit_Names#Naming_Convention

I'd change my character's name throughout the game if I could. I'd try to use the command console for that but I don't want to risk breaking anything. I still might, but I don't want my file broken.

Khajiit names, particularly among males, often have a prefix before them, usually though not always separated by an apostrophe. In general, the rest of the name following the prefix should be capitalized, though the games are not consistent on this point. Some names also have a hyphenated suffix (e.g.: '-Dar') indicating two titles which, according to Jobasha in Morrowind, is considered foolish. The meanings of the prefixes are as follows:[OOG 1]

Dar = Thief, clever
Do = Warrior
Dro = Grandfather/Grandmother
J/Ja/Ji = Bachelor, Young advlt
Jo = Wizard, Scholar
M/Ma = Child, Apprentice, also used to imply virginity
Qa = Unknown
Ra = Shows Status
Ri = Status, often tribal leader
S = advlt

First (as the titles apply to him) M' (Apprentice, also used to imply virginity) then J' (Bachelor) then S' (advlt) then Jo' (wizard, scholar).

Does anyone know if there's a way to translate English Argonian names into Black Marsh names? If I roll Argonian I'd like to have a proper argonian name (like Haj-Ei or whatever) but that actually means something and makes sense. Preferebly something to do with embracing destruction like "Laughs-At-Chaos" or "Smiles-At-Dying". I guess no one else will see it so it doesn't matter so much if I just made it up, but it'd be nice for my own peace of mind :)
