If I have less than 10 lockpicks, sometimes I'll save before I hit a hard chest or door. Otherwise I just do my regular save every half hour or so..

Hiiiiiii Moiesha. My name is Sky Rune, and I'm alos a, ummm...... savaholic.

I like my saves to have pretty thumbnail pictures too. I delete only the ones that wouldn't make the cover of National Skyrim Geographic.

Moeisha, I'm almost as bad as you. I'll save after every battle in a quest, and occasionally while outside. I know my behaviour sounds pitiful (erm, that is, better) in comparison to yours. It's still a problem, though. I know I have a problem.

But I just hate to have to redo something I've already done. That's not why I play Skyrim; that's why I play other games, sure, but definitely not why I play Skyrim ...

Maybe stop saving during crafting. That does sound way too obsessively compulsive. :spotted owl:

By the end of my 175 hour 53 minute playthrough, I had 2.2 gigs worth of save files, roughly around 320 saves, all separate save spots. Thank God my 360 just got that cloud update thing, transferred both of my character's latest saves over, then wiped the saves off my harddrive, then put them back on.

My name is CJ, and I'm a Savoholic

About to fight some bandits? Save.
See a bear? Save.
See a Sabercat? Save.
About to enter a Fort? Save.
Gonna go on a murderous lychanthrope rampage? Save.
See a Dragon? Save.
Walk for a little while? Save.

What is this cloud stuff I've been hearing about?

When you get the new Xbox live update(pretty much turns the dashboard into a PS3) it allows you to save games to Cloud Gaming, essentially, giving you another, smaller, storage device. I think you can save around 500 mb on it.

In a Beth game, this is a good habit to have to save yourself grief. :P

I'm just as bad, but I don't often overwrite saves. I've got 300+ save files taking up 2GB currently. :P

I also am a savaholic and am soo glad for the cloud. earlier this year I lost my hard drive. All my 1000's of Oblivion and Fallout Saves gone. Poof. Everything now is in the cloud. I just assume they have some sort of redundancy in case of catastrophic failure.
