I have a dragonbone sword made from the bones of alduin, named "Nordic Glory"
Various bows and either ebony/daedric sword. Usually with the word "blood" in it. Just because it fits my RP'ing.
Stalrhim Claymore with Frost and Chaos Damage - Wraith of Nomeg Gwai. Nomeg Gwai was a Frost Atronach that was involved with the daughter of Molag Bal in Morrowind, and was killed in a Questline. The Elemental Damage of the Claymore fits.
Awesome, I remember that poor Nomeg Gwai, who's only crime was love. Or whatever it is daedra do.
In Morrowind I always soultrapped unique souls because soul gems had the name of what was in it displayed then and I could make a nice table o 'souls.
..You didn't steal that gem from Tel Uvirith did you?
Myself, my favorite Skyrim weapon is the Ghostblade so I don't get to name many weapons. I've made a few "vampiric daggers" with absorb health on them for my children though.
I have an Enchanted (Fire Damage) Ebony Bow called 'Direction'.
An enchanted (Soul Trap) Glass Dagger called 'The Last Word' that I use with my Assassins perk.
I have an enchanted pickaxe called 'Mr Pointy'.
No real damage. Just wanted to call it that
I usually pick something generically appropriate, "steel Ice" If the character happens to be Dragonborn then I will use the same generic name but in Dragon language... Dwiin Liz, steel Ice. Though I did name an ebony greatsword, Ved Peyt which is Black Rose.
http://static1.nexusmods.com/110/mods/images/1002-4-1326614246.jpg 2-handed sword (Jaysus Sword Mod) i am waiting until reaching 100 to Enchanting so that i can put 2 enchantments on it
I would have called my Stalhrim Claymore, "Windcutter" but I am keeping it unenchanted so that I can use Elemental Fury with it. Shame it can't be named without enchanting.
Ebony Battle Axe. Enchantments: Paralyse and Fire Damage. A weapon that strikes fear into the hearts of vampires everywhere. Molag Bal flinches if he heres the three words of it's name:
I've named my dragonbone greatsword "Ysmir's Fang" (fang because Ysmir = Dragon of the North).
I thought it deserved a name since it's the weapon I used to slay Alduin.
The enchantment is Chaos Damage.
I tend to name my weapons after my character, so in my head canon "Gorblat's Sword of Woe' or whatever might end up as some artifact for a future adventurer to loot. That being said, most characters do end up with a firey soul trap enchanted silver sword for soul farming named Draugrbane.
I've got a steel warhammer with shock damage called Storm's Might. Sort of a traditional weapon for me to make in TES games, though the quality tends to vary. In Morrowind and Oblivion, the hammer would be of a higher quality, like Ebony(Oblivion) or Daedric(Morrowind). I use steel in Skyrim because it is strong enough to be used.
I'm usually boring with names à la "sword of shock" kind of thing but sometimes I make up stuff:
- battleaxe with soul trap named Guillotine when I unlocked my decapitation perk. Fun times.
- scimitar named Curved sword of non-linear damage with shock enchantment just for the shock on the Nords' face when they met such a weapon.
- planning to use a Blades sword named Dragon Toothpick with my current spellsword who will be a dragonborn slayer of dragon character. Don't know which enchantment yet. He might use many toothpicks
The Sword of Shadows, which is a Creation Kit item I made, with the Mehrunes' Razor enchantment. Model is an Ebony Blade.
I've only got relatively few enchanted weapons; most of my characters prefer stock ones.
My Khajiit has two Elven battle axes. Flesh-burner has a fire enchantment, Blood-drinker absorbs health. He also has an Elven bow named Firebomber.
Another character (don't recall which) has a wooden sword with a 1-hp shock enchantment, mainly used for disciplining obnoxious children. It's called the Naughty Stick.
