Well he/she doesn't need to be exceptionally skilled in magic, but have at least a basic understanding. My 'Snape' character is running a falty magical equipment shop to cover up his grand sceme. I suppose your character could be an apprentice. As far as the second requirement goes, my Snape character isn't even skilled in alchemy so I suppose I can cut that part out. But ultimately (feel like I spelled this wrong) it'll depend on the type of character sheet you send. (If any at all.)

I got a character sheet half-ready (may need some polishing) but it isnt sent yet since I want to be sure that Elite Birthday is still interested in this RP first.
Short description:
He is a young Imperial apprentice mage (lets call him Bracio Garnarius) with a basic understanding of magic (his spells work, mostly...) and he wants to investigate this "group" since he is a pretty curious guy... perhaps to curious for his own good?
He has never been on any other adventures before so he is pretty inexperienced but he is good at translating daedric texts and he also knows some of the ayledic and dwemerish alphabet which he has remembered from books which he read whilst visiting Phintias bookstore (who may or may not be alive after the attack).

If he will become this snapey type of guys aide then I can add this:
Since Bracio didnt get a letter from the council (suprise, suprise!) he have been forced to join someone who did. Fortunantely (sp?) he found [insert Snapey sort of guys name here] and begged [insert you know whos name here] to allow him to follow [snape] and find this "group". [Snape] accepted after 2 hours of never-interrupted begging to allow Bracio to tag along and do Snape′s dirty job (no, not murdering someone! Carrying [Snape′s] package through the mud ofcourse!)

Lots of [insert name here′s].
This is ofcourse not completely done and it may be changed quicker than the weather.

Yay! My character sheet has been approved. Here she is:

Name: Reia

six: Female

Age: 24

Race: Breton

Alignment: Hero

Motivation: Her sister, Elenya, was killed during the slaughtering and she wants revenge.

Skills: Highly skilled healer, and good with a bow. Carries a silver dagger in her boot just in case, but otherwise stays away from close-combat.

Physical Appearance: A Breton with a drop of Elven blood ( her great-grandmother was a Wood Elf), Reia has always been a little exotic. Short, even for a Breton, and very slight, her Arena Light Raiment has always been a bit too large for her. Her skin is so thin her veins show through and she is very pale, save for a light dusting of freckles across her short, upturned nose. Her long, wavy brown hair is so dark it is almost black, and although it is very fine, she has so much of it that its thinness does not matter. Her eyes are her feature that set her apart from everyone else, though – very large, almond shaped and a deep dark blue color like the sea during the night.

Weapons: She carries a quiver filled with sharp silver arrows and a silver bow. She also keeps a silver dagger in her boot as a precaution, although it is rarely used.

Mental Description/Personality: At first glance, Reia seems like a quiet, reserved, bitter young girl. She speaks in a low, quiet voice and often plays with her hair or looks at her feet when talking. Her aura is dark and solemn, and she rarely smiles at anyone anymore. She has a quick tongue and is actually quite witty, but doesn't use it often anymore, preferring to keep to herself. She is judgmental, holds grudges, is very loyal and puts a lot of stock in first impressions – and if you get on her bad side, she will never let you forget it.

Brief History: Reia and her twin sister, Elenya, grew up in a quaint village near the southern coast of High Rock. They were inseparable, closer than it seemed anyone had ever been. Their family owned a little inn, and Reia and Elenya were growing up preparing to take ownership of it when their parents got too old. However, everything changed when Reia and Elenya were 18 and their village was attacked in a raid. Both their parents were killed and the inn was burned to the ground – Reia and Elenya barely escaped with their lives. However, Elenya was heavily injured, and Reia was forced to learn Restorative magic to heal her sister completely, which took several weeks. Even after Elenya was healed, Reia continued with her study of restorative magic.
Orphaned and with nowhere to live, Reia and Elenya wandered the countryside for a year, doing odd jobs to pay for room and board overnight, practicing with a bow they had found on a dead highwayman’s body for entertainment, and never really knowing what they were trying to do. Eventually they found themselves in Bruma, when they heard of a wonderful prospect; the Arena. The sisters were interested – they could work as a team, earning and saving up money to buy themselves a house or maybe an inn. After a year of wandering, settling down sounded nice.
So they made their way to the Imperial City. The blademaster laughed at them – how did two pretty little Bretons plan on surviving in the Arena. Nevertheless, he allowed them to join, and the sisters began training – Reia with the same old bow, which she had always had a talent for, and Elenya with a sword. The blademaster was surprised at their natural talent and even more surprised when they won their first match in record time. For five years, the sisters climbed their way up through the ranks, slowly but surely making themselves famous and well-loved throughout the city. They were thought to be unstoppable, inseparable – until Elenya’s death during the celebrations of the closing of the last oblivion gate.

Hey everyone, just got back from a vacation-esque leave. Well, it seems like you all have been quite active in my absence, and so I have a flood of ten or so characters in my inbox. I have gone over three, I think anyways, and I really need to find a better way to organize this. I figure that all of you are wanting to join, and so there is not going to be room for all of you nice people. So, I will not be reviewing characters for a while, as I have to make a system to organize all the characters I am getting.

I WARN YOU, THERE MIGHT NOT BE ROOM FOR YOU!

Because of all the characters I am getting, and especially because I am picky and am making everyone redo it, it will be a while before I can get this all sorted out. Sorry, everyone, for the inconvenience.

Ya mine too!

Name:Ma'vari
six:Male
Age:19
Race:Khajiit (Suthay Raht, the ones in Oblivion)
Allignment:Aide
Motivation:Treasure and Adventure
Skills:Good Archer and Illusionist, Ma'vari is great at talking his way out of problems. He is okay with a blade, and prefers to go unarmored, maybe a few pieces of light armor. A excellent reader, he is skilled at translating. He hunts well and has a large amount of stamina. He's not the strongest guy out there, but he gets by just fine with his sneak and talking skills.
Physical Appearance:
Very skinny, tall, unusual blue eyes and a dusty gold coat. Wears fur headband style
Weapons:
Steel Dagger with worn leather handle
Fine Steel Bow with insignia
Brief History:
Born into slavery, Ma'vari and his mom were shipped to Morrowind to be slaves. His mom soon died of over-work but not before passing down the family heirloom. Ma'vari became determined to escape and thoughts of adventure fueled this. After devising a plan, Ma'vari swiped a Steel Dagger from his master,

retrieved his bow, and escaped with noone noticing. He moved to a port city, but soon guards became suspicious so he fled to Solthsteim, where he found work as a Imperial Leigon scout, however, he still aches for adventures

I must admit, I don't fancy the idea of having a limit of 6 people. And you mentioned something about character aides. Does this mean you're excluding the potential for an epic sized rp due to the fear of having an uncontrollable rp? Alot of the people who said they'd join wanted to be aides to begin with. But oh my god, i just dropped my bowl of ice cream! Agh! One sec...

Bazz, the only problem I can see is that my character is younger than yours, which could make things awkward, however if you’re fine with that, I’ll pm you the sheet

Meh. I was interested before. But seeing as how I haven't been told whether I've been rejected or accepted after so many other people have I'll just go ahead and pull out. I don't like that only 6 people may join anyway. Good luck with this potentially fun rp Elite.

I am going to have to shut this down. I don't have too much time on my hands and seeing as how so much people want to join, it is really way too much than I thought it would be.

Sorry everyone, maybe I will come back and do this later.

I think only allowing 6 people to join is very reasonable, because overpopulated RPs tend to get out of hand very quickly. :)

How many people have joined already Elite Birthday? Or, to put it more bluntly, when can we start? I'm excited to start writing again. I haven't participated in a RP since... 2006 or something. :P

EDIT: NoooOOOooooOOooooo!
