Nano Recharge - Rethink leveling of module

Post » Sun Oct 10, 2010 4:09 pm

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed how hard this module is to level compared to others, but I think something along the lines of;

'x' amount of damaged healed

As opposed to the current 'Take damage and heal to full' idea - the amount of times you get to 'regen' HP in a massive gun fight is near zero.

Hopefully others agree, and a Crytek Mod sees.

+1

lvl 2 of....retriever let's say is what, 200 kills? that's like 10 or so games.
Playing that same amount of games I fully heal maybe 3 times, and you need 500 to get lvl 2?

Yeah, but in Crytek's defense, nano recharge is so useful and powerful, it really blows any other armor perk out of the water. Level 2 not only does increase your power recharge rate but also reduces the time your suit is unpowered after it has been drained completely. That being said, 500 heals for level 2 is remotely doable, but 1,500 heals for level 3? Forget it. I'm still using it, but I doubt I'll max it out before I'm bored with the game.

Well, I started doing this module cause I thought it might be like the one in SP that increases health and energy recovery, so if lvl 3 is doubling your energy recharge rate, then while 1500 is ridiculous, it'd be worth it.

You just need 500 for the double power recharge. At level 3 the bonus you get is reduced time before your health starts regenerating.

good thing about this perk, it levels without you using it, so i have it lvl 2 barely using it.
Bad i had all unlocks, but didn't unlock because i didn't need them, otherwise it'd be almost lvl 3 for now

I have it on lvl 2(1500 regens) took me a good 14 hours, but its not that impossible.

Prefer energy transfer to be honest, since everytime I run out of energy is whilst, or just after killing someone(or some three :P)

Subsequently: I have all power modules maxed(lv2 whilst lvling up nanorecharge)
and I leveled upthe stealth modules:Stealth Enhance, Hunter, Cloak Tracker, Visor, Radar Jammer.
Armor mods at lv2 = Energy transfer, Nano regen ^^

Mweh, I dont really care about Nano regen but I figured people would moan about it eventually :)

The module actually ranks up even if you arnt using it. You can use another Armor module and all health regens still count towards Nano Recharge.
