What I really liked about the first Crysis again was the dedicated suit modes (maximum speed, strength armour etc)
The benefits of having dedicated modes was that it allowed for smarter play but I think a bit more could have been done with them. For example maximum speed could also half your reload time and while strength improved your accuracy I think it would be even better balanced if it made toy 100% accuracy with needing to ion-sight as per cost of not having armour.
I also think the armour mode worked a little better in Crysis 1 as well. Sure id didn't stop bullets quite as well as it did in Crysis 2, but it did regenerate your health faster and didn't drain your suit power when it was in. I think it's a bit silly to have armour mode drain your suit because it means that you have to wait until you're getting shot before turning it on rather then leaving it on stand by and having it drain only when the bullets hit you.
I know they mentioned something about customizing the suit but I really hope they bring back th dedicated suite abilities.
I'm still not sure how I feel about upgrading the suit as you play. In Crysis 2 if you collect lain tissue samples you could upgrade your suit but this meant that you had to kill aliens in order to do so. So if you where the kind who wanted to sneak through a level while kill as least as possible that meant missing out on upgrades. However, you could start a new game with all the upgrades intact I think which added replay value.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts
