Nanosuit 2 - Controlling the voice

So you could stop spamming NV in MP, but you decide to stop playing MP because you are spamming NV and not liking the voice...

Good job >.<

Since it had its range severely reduced from the demo there is no benefit to spamming it like that anymore. OP is an idiot.

uhh.. hey pro, nice post up there. but listen, I don't spam nano vision as it seems in the video. In the video I only demonstrated how repeatedly that suit voice reminds the player - nano nano nano nano nano nano & as it's way too loud as well. It is indeed bugged! & should be fixed.
You're blaming the person who is making use of the Nano vision, but I suggest you first start questioning the idiots who're cloaked 90% of the time in game ( I reckon two of you are among them).
About the nano vision, it's not just the suit voice that's annoying.. it's the nano vision itself too & I sometimes just hate to use it. Gives me a headache. & God, why would I ever want to see stuff in Thermal vision & not look at incredibly pretty visuals the game has to offer. But the truth is that the player is usually forced to use it due to the rubbish "Cloak" power of the Nano suit & the idiots who spam it too often.
Better think before jumping in a thread & posting your crap right way, dumbass. Or I suggest you idiots spend more time online playing against atleast some decent players.

Pretty sure im better than you at this game and i never had touched Crysis Wars. ANNNNNNYWAYS...

If you were good you could use SOUND in order to hear 90% of cloaked enemies and seeing them w/o NV isnt hard as well. Ive maybe gotten 10-15 kills using NV.

Stop using NV if you hate the voice. Up your playing abilities before you start crying about something so miniscule

I see.. then I guess you never played Crysis 1 either ? If you did you must know that there was an option to turn OFF the Suit Voice in game. But it isn't available in Crysis 2 for some reason. Also one can't use SOUND to spot enemies who are cloaked & are camping in a single spot, expert. Also it can be quite difficult to react to footsteps when there is so much action/fire fights going around the player.

I never use nanovision either, pretty damn useless. I can see cloaked enemies easier without it to be honest.

But yea they need to lower the damn volume on that soundcliip.

Thats why you have a radar up, or you remember the general location of a red dot on the HUD. Footsteps are the main thing you should be listening for ingame.

Is there a way to disable nano suit sounds in game? It is very annoying on some maps where there is lots of reverb and then you activate something on nanosuit and literally you are deaf for the next 3 seconds or so many different noises and announcements that are made with reverb.

Please allow us to remove this!

Please give us the option to disable suit voices. The nanovision suit feature is essential for catching cloaked players in multiplayer, and as such needs to be used often. But, hearing this voice clip over and over again every time I want to use it is extremely annoying. Is Crytek going to do anything about this?
How instead of that, we get the option to change it from "Nano-vision" engaged to the Predator thermal vision swipe through? *Cough*Crymodders get to bloody work!*Cough*

In Multiplayer, if you live long enough, and go thru enough sound mess I guess, the Suit Voice will be disabled at some point. Very pleasant bug actually, but I haven't been able to reproduce it consistently thou...

Hey guys,

Just a small update on this... You can control the overall volume of the Nanosuit voice via the "Dialogue Volume" slider in the sound settings. There's two issues with this currently however:

1) This controls all of the dialogue volume, including the radio overlay and i believe the vocal taunts.
2) It doesn't control the "Nanovision Enabled" voice over when activating nano vision.

We've still passed on the information that you guys would prefer separate control over just the nanosuit voice. Any updates on this, we'll let you know!

Cheers!

I actually have no problem with the suit voice, and have kind of learned to zone it out while I play. However, if there were an option to change it to a female voice I'd probably do it.. that way I'll find it easier to ignore ;) lol

The suit voice is so annoying. Make it stop, please. CRYSIS and CRYSIS: WARHEAD had this feature from the get go. Why was this over looked this time? You thought to include it the first time so why did you remove for the sequel? Give me more control please.

Agree with the last post. All of the notifications are okay, but the nanovision one is just silly.

Yeah, the suit voice is annoying on anything other than MAXIMUM blah blah, plus some of the sounds it makes when recharging are so low, I can't hear it as an audio cue. Like when the suits fully recharge, it gives a "dee dee dee," can't hear that in a fire fight!!

I really wish the suits voice could be deactivated, most of the time I find it annoying to a point that lets me add the voice to my "reason not to play Crysis 2 anymore because it is sooo annoying" list.

I think I am okay with "armor enabled" etc, but even this is obsolete since we get a visual feedback. But I really wish there would be the possibility to switch this "tactical options available" announcement off. Especially when "tactival options" usually means nothing more than a stash of ammo or the hint that you can use either the left or the right side of the street.

And whats really pissing me off is the constant spam with instructions in the first level since they are completely killing the game flow. I mean, okay, keep it for the first two difficulty levels - they are made for first time players, children younger than 6 and my cats anyway. (And honestly - even "posthuman" is way to easy, I thought this was supposed to be a challenge.)
But giving the player at least the bloody option to use the mute button in "posthuman" would be a relieve. I take it that most players kept "posthuman" for the second run so it might be a surprise but I already know how this freaking thing works.

I started a new run the other day but I stopped playing before even finishing the first level - the constant "freeze, then suit babbeling, making two steps, freeze, suit babbeling" drove me nuts.
Then I remembered that there will be endless minutes of being confined with Gould in his flat, forced to listen to his boring babbeling and more endless minutes when you are forced to watch uninteresting stuff or to press single buttons to make "exciting" stuff happen (defibrillator goes off, yeeeah...). All that made me fidget in my chair even on the first run because I wanted to play instead of just sitting here, forced to watch - but on the second or even third run it is a complete game killer. Maximum boredom.
