Nanosuit 1 vs 2

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 1:45 am

m3h... to be honest I liked the first suit better.... BUT the second one does fit crysis 2 game better.

From a tactical perspective he is the only nano Shell wearer in the city so his first objective is survival. Avoid as much as possible. So I do see the change being necessary.

Still we agree they both look wicked.

PS: feet of the 2nd one look awesome :P better than the firs tone :P
No, I'm quite sure the C.E.L.L. also wear nanosuits, but simply dumbed down versions in order to cheaply mass produce them.

EDIT: "from a tactical perspective". I just read that...

Version 1,if no one here has played the first Crysis, you haven't played Crysis at all.
MAXIMUM STRENGTH(You can actually throw an enemy through a wall).
MAXIMUM SPEED(Run really, really fast indeed, and swim in the vast ocean)
I just love throwing chickens into the sea,and not forgetting picking up invisible frogs in the swamp.
Ballucks to it,i'v just convinced myself,im going back to Crysis 1,cheerio.

"Chicken Rage"

Killing soldiers with super-accelerated chickens is hilarious.

No, they don't. They wear hazmat compatible clothing to prevent the virus affecting them, etc.
If they can't throw objects at you, get up after taking a load of bullets, activate armor mode, engage cloak, I don't think it's a nanosuit.

I miss Maximum speed.

Umm... it's still there... All the suit crap is still there its just mapped out to the buttons rather than having to pop open a menu to select. You know, when you push down on the joy stick and you run really fast? Maximum power or whatever is still there too, people. If you're shooting and you push down on joystick it uses power mode to stablize. And... well jumping 20 feet in the air takes a lot of power too...

Reading these forums it sounds like 360 people are trying to fit in and act like they played crysis 1. A lot of people would bich about that comment, but your defensiveness just goes to prove my point.

??? yes it does.

its stabalized aim?. You rpess down the left joystick and consumes energy while keeping nearly pin point on enemy.

The patch hasn't been released yet...M$ is still approving it.

And I don't like them taking it out...I hope they reconsider.

I like some aspects of both but overall I like the first suit better. I likes the armor components on it more and the muscle weave looks better.

*spoiler* question.

So did the suit actually heal all of Alcatraz's wounds or is he still broken in there?...I don't understand why he's still functioning after all those extensive injuries.

Well heal might be innaccurate. The suit nanites grew into them. So the suit is proving a bridge for the tissues. So I am not sure. Does the suit's nanites slowly back away to let the body regenerate eventually. Or does the suit has just grown into his body in a total symbiotic form.

Either way his "injuries" were filled in by the suit. Turn off the suit and alcatraz will suddely have those extensive injuries again.

Best way to describe it. remember that halo bridge in HALO 1. early in the game... some light bridge. The light bridge is the suit. Turn if on, everything is off. Turn it off, suddenly you drop a mile down and everything gets cut off.

Only thing keeping alcatraz alive is the suit's nanites having filled in his lost tissue.

Yep, Nanites grew into in his body symbiotically, without the suit Alcatraz is dead and so is the N2 unless it finds new host....

Did you guys think that Nanosuit 2 reminds of Venom from Spiderman ... symbiote :P lol

Totally thought VENOM when I discovered this.
So you're saying N2 and Alcatraz are slowly dieing together...unless N2 finds a healthy host?

I also miss maximum speed. And it hasn't been "mapped" really. In every shooter you can "sprint" but in crysis 1 you fly off well fast. Which I used a lot to get out of trouble and hide.

Also how the f**k does Alcatraz go to the loo?!??!?!?!!! Just sayin'

The suit doesn't die. It will live forever until it's host kills him/her self like Prophet did to be able to give Alcatraz the suit.

He had to break the symbiotic bonds with the suit.

Urine is water and trace amouns of minerals and very minor toxins that are only irritable to skin and eyes. Today we already got batteries that get fueled by you pissing on em.

Not a big deal for something like the nano suit to break it down and inject the water back into alcatraz's body.

I know, I know. I was only joking.

But what happens when Alcatraz simply has to piss in his suit when a badass Ceph is looking down at him and his suit has shut down?

1-Wait until it starts back up and clean u up.

2- Having a little rash or burned skin cuz of piss will be the last of his worries having a ceph about to get canibalistic on him lol

3- Make a mental note to buy ointment to help with the irritation later on

About the aim stabalizing. I believe that was in reference to the multiplayer side. I can still do it in the single player. I also discovered that it can be done with any weapon, scoped or unscoped. This is the first game that lets you stabalize iron sights. Pretty cool.
