Let it to you this way.... If I had a doctor aproach me and tell me he needed to see if my "interior is differentiated or uniform" I'd be slapping him with a lawsuit for sixual harassment.

Omg so true. I'm the geek of the family. I was showing my wife pictures of Pluto, and she could not understand why I was so excited.

Probably they discovered what happened to mars and why it is a wasteland nowadays and not full of water like in the past.

Indeed it was ^_^. I liked the music to it specially when you go into Hyperspace but the game was tricky if you didn't know what to do. I do know finding the Rainbow Worlds can help you get some credits for some really important upgrades. Also there's a time limit and you can give yourself another year before really bad things happen.

Nah they found a small canister, and are now secretly bringing up the wreck of the Yamato.

Do they normally have press conferences for discoveries, or is this new for Nasa?

It's nothing. Nothing big or exciting to Joe Soaps anyway. There'll be carbon [censored] there, like a diamond mine on the surface and they're going to mine them out, or oil, probably American Freedom coming to a Mars near you.

Yes, most likely something that makes the common man go "Huh. That's interesting. Anyway, back to things that matter, where did i leave my car keys?! :swear: "

NASA has always done press conferences. Many, actually. They have always publicly exhibited info to keep people interested in space, in hopes of more funding.
This one is getting a lot of hype because it's Mars, and it seems to be pointing to proof of liquid water.

Yep, apparently it was water. Running rivers of water during the summer time on Mars. Next step is seeing if there is any bacterial life in said water.
