Hi..my Ps3 says that I have a Type 2 NAT but ingame i always get NAT type Moderate? how do i change it to Open?

It's the same thing for me, as well. I don't see it as a problem though, as I am to get into games very easily. When I do play games, I don't have a problem with lag, either.

same here. for other games, it's open. guess crytek or ea has to fix this.

my nat type is moderate witch is type 2.allways put me in to the loby and waiting for 5 other players than i vote for map and afterwards it will conect me in to the game like 1-2 minutes later.after i have no lag at all.i am fcuking happy!!crysis 2 forewer!!!<3<3<3

Try plugging your PS3 directly into your modem.

Same here... Nat2:open.. In other games like black ops homefront and killzone are open.. And this is the 1st time i got moderate nat on a nat type 2.. Fix this asap!!! Im very pissed off about this.. But i think u need time to fix this crappy connection

i have my PS3 connected directly through ethernet cable...im going to be very honest here...i really like the game..but i had a more smooth online experience in the demo than im having right now...i can get into games easily, thats not the issue but im experiencing allot of lag even with a 3 bar connection ..i guess i'll just give it some time to see if it improves in the future..

Same here dude. I have had zero problems getting into matches very quickly. Once I'm in there though, it's often a laggy mess.

I have nat open and I can't find mathces |:

I have NAT 2 (which is the best you can get with a wireless connection) and last night it showed that I have a Moderate NAT type. I have OPEN NAT on all other games (including Black Ops). I have OPEN NAT on my 360s as well all of the time. I would suspect that this is some type of server issue that EA should address, as I'm not forwarding ports just for this game. I use UPnP so I shouldn't have to forward ports. That being said, I did not have any problems getting into games last night and did not experience any lag.
