navmesh oddity

Post » Sat Jun 15, 2013 12:20 am

i've just been working on KatlasFarmExterior's navmesh, and came across something i got no clue what to make of:

on the cell's right border to -18/23 (about where the carriage is), there's a triangle in some grey-bluish shade (NOT underwater-blue), and, if that's in any way connected, one single vertex floating above it.

anybode got any idea what this is?

(in additition, a closer look at that same edge reveals really bad stuff going on, wonder if that's anything on purpose or just the most f**d up autogen i've ever seen...?)

Is it both a preferred path triangle, and a load door triangle? That mixes the teal of load door with the yellow of preffered path, making a weird mixed color.

no, definitely no load door (green), preferred (yellow) or that acid cyan you get when they're mixed :-)

totally unseen (for a navmesh) color. but next to a preferred path. figured it could have stg to do with them arcane "road markers" you sometimes get shouted at for having moved :-), but that's just hypothesis

Its seems like a preferred path triangle mixed with a water triangle.
