NBA Playoffs

the chicago bulls and the dallas mavericks have been my favorite teams for many years, the michael jordan and scottie pippen era with the bulls was the best, jason kidd has been my favorite basketball player since jordan and pippen retired. i hope it will be dallas and chicago in the finals, whomever wins ill be happy, but i think the mavericks deserve it more since their loss in the '06 finals has been haunting them until this day

Yes. This is exactly what I've been saying to everyone.

I can't wait for the game tonight!

Well, that game was a real kick in the marbles. Night and day compared to Game 1. I'm not worried though. I had a feeling tonight wouldn't go well.

We really looked lackluster on the offensive end, especially late. Maybe this first loss at home will get our asses in gear.

Hopefully Haywood won't get murdered by KD next time either. That turned this game completely around.

That was bad.

Jason Kid has to play more minutes too, left for what seemed like forever.

Yeah, something seemed off with everyone's minutes. We weren't moving the ball like we have been either. Ugh, so many things were wrong. It was like they scrapped everything that had earned that seven game win streak.

With having to put my dog to sleep later this morning, I couldn't care about the Mavericks. Hope they bounce back, of course.

Despite the comeback and bringing the score in close, the Mavs have played like garbage in the first half tonight. Hopefully, they come out in the second ready to actually play basketball.

I have a hard time seeing OKC bouncing back after tonight. Dallas clinches on Wednesday and advances.

Yea, I think it's over on Wednesday too. If it's a Finals rematch from '06 I really hope it's not the same outcome. I'd love to see Kidd and Nowitzki get a ring.

Me too, and it looks like it's well on it's way there. It would be redemption at its finest.

Oh no, I would say Dallas' choke job in Portland a few weeks ago was much worse, it was a bigger lead and against a worse team. :poke: @Thadeus

That was bad, but when you're up by 15, at home, in the Conference Finals, late in the 4th quarter, you have to win.

Yeah, Dallas choked against Portland. But that wasn't a must win game for them like this was for OKC. The circumstances surrounding this game make it bigger, IMO.

OKC's was way worse because they were up by 15 with under 5 to go.
