I've been replaying New Vegas recently when I came across this line from Alexander at the 188:

"Used to think it was the Brotherhood, those crazies go hard for energy weapons. But the NCR would rather pretend they killed them all."

I personally always believed it most likely that Lost Hills would have been taken out straight away, it's location was never a secret, and I think that this might confirm it. Yeah Alexander is clearly being facetious but for the NCR to claim that they've effectively crushed all Brotherhood resistance must have some merit in truth.

I figure that some people's counter-arguement is that Alexander was only refering too the Mojave, I would say that he never once specified that - he says that the Gun Runner's don't deal in energy weapons, full-stop, because the caravans were being hit by someone very sophisticated.

How do you people think that the war is going, baring in mind that the Mojave was a mere skirmish beyond the NCR's borders.
