Casinos can exchange them to chips directly. But every other shop just converts them to their cap value.

The casinos will take NCR dollars as currency to exchange for chips to play the slots/blackjack/roullette.

Judging by the exchange rate between caps and $NCR, Vegas's economy is running a lot smoother than the NCR's...


I haven't seen exchange rates that bad since francs were still in use.
