I have experienced two major glitches in my game

1st Glitch:
On my pipboy status, it claims that i am one of the following: Neutral, Accepted, or the Faction Name isnt listed, by the NCR
I wear non brotherhood power armor, tried to wear non faction armor (ie. Merc armor) and have tried to confront NCR with nothing equipped.
All and any member of the NCR (except drunken ones on the strip) fire at or attack me without warning.
I reloaded, fast traveled to many different NCR locations, and wore different clothing(except disguises/faction armor), but they still shoot me
I also have ED-E and Boone as companions plus "Good" Karma so they shouldn't have any reason to start shooting

2nd Glitch
The Lucky 38 is supposedly off limits to the public except the courier(you)
In my game, inside the Penthouse, and Presidential suite, an "NCR Ranger" randomly spawns and starts firing
plus if it spawns in the presidential suite, he steals whatever was in my "Weapons Trunk 1" and "Weapons Trunk 2" (probably normal AI behavior)
Before the Patch (ver. 1.02) he spawns once and respawns if i leave the area and come back
AFTER the patch, when he dies, another one comes in front of the elevator to kill me
I have killed him about 15 times on one save, and about 30 times in total over multiple saves and reloading
Note: i dont know if this is relevant but this glitch happened after i killed an NCR Ranger outside the Northern Freeside Gate (Did not gain any NCR infamy)


Please explain to me what is wrong because this is interrupting my current game...

im having the exact same problem as you with the NCR but im only being attacked by certain NCR members.....captain curtis at camp mccarren , the LT at helios one, all NCR rangers and the NCR mp's on the strip but only the ones near the embassy !

This is seriously annoying me and stopping me from doing several quests!

This happened to me before the patch (1.02) but in the end I had to start a new game and haven't had the problem with the new game. Think it's just luck of the draw

The first one isn't necessarily a "glitch". You probably committed some sort of crime against the NCR. You mentioned killing a Ranger? Even if it didn't give you an "infamy" gain, I would suspect that any and all NCR memebers will always attack you from now on and there is nothing you can do to change it. The solution is not to kill anyone in the NCR . . . or steal from them . . . ever. ONce you do it, you will probably always be an enemy.

Once you kill a Ranger, they will randomly spawn and attempt to kill you. Again, this is a result of killing one of them. Sure, they probably shouldn't spawn in the Lucky 38 . . . but regardless, they will be hunting you down from now on.

it is a bug caused by repairing and item of armour with faction armour and the game dosent recognise you are no longer wearing that armour !!! You can try putting on every item of clothing and taking it off, one at a time...didnt work for me as i must of sold or threw away the one i had repaired at some point in the game , sadly i think the only fix is to start a new game !

Absolute rubbish, iv never known a game have so many bugs.
