NCR playthrough.

I have seen many Enclave, BoS and Legion playthrough threads but not a single NCR. Most people are probably helping NCR out in their games, but i'm thinking about a RP NCR playthrough where you use one of their faction armors through the game. And when it comes to this the NCR correctional facility is kind of a gray zone here. You would never join the Powder Gangers as NCR, but that way you won't be able to get the NCR finish on the quest either. You can clear out the prison on your own but you'll get nothing out of it, while if you do the first quests for the Powder Gangers you'll be able to join the NCR in their assault. So how exactly would you RP that? Go 'undercover' and take the easy solutions (Tell the Powder Gangers and Merchant to leave), and then join the NCR and betray the Powder Gangers on the last part of the quest. And it also doesn't make sense because then you would have to go away from Goodsprings before helping Ringo and that would be odd.

Another question i have is would you RP that you're already a part of the NCR, or would you join them at some point? (Primm, Mojave outpost).

What Factions would attack me on sight if i had a NCR uniform on me? Khaan, Powder Gangers, BoS?

My companion hardcoe run ended with me stepping on a mine 8 hours into the game, so now i'm thinking about doing a NCR RP playthrough on hardcoe (No reload).

The Legion will definitely attack you on sight if you are wearing NCR faction armor.

My current character didn't help Ringo at first. He didn't feel confident enough to get into a big gunfight.

He went on down to Primm, and then the NCRCF for a quest reason. Talking to the Powder Gangers revealed just how scummy they are.

So he cut the deal with the NCR, helped them take down the prison, then felt confident enough to go back to Goodsprings and help Ringo.

He isn't NCR yet, but is leaning that way. But he hasn't met Mr. House yet, so...

I've done a couple of role play characters were I'll start at Mojave Outpost as a trooper (Grunt Perk weapons only) reporting for duty then work my way north to Goodsprings, doing the quests as I come to them, before turning around when I hit the Quarry. I've also role played a semi-civilized tribal who supports the NCR because a patrol saved a member of his family and even a diplomatic character who's the drinking buddy of the NCR President come to check things out in the Mojave. The only real limitation is what you think fits for the character.

As for wearing NCR Faction armor

Spoiler
Aside from the Legion and assorted bandits that will be hostile anyway, the only npcs that will always be hostile to you if you're wearing NCR faction armor will be Jerry the Punk at Red Rock Canyon and the Khan holdout at Bitter Springs. The rest of the Khan's will start out hostile but, if you resolved the stand off at Boulder City peacefully they'll let you come and go even while you're wearing NCR armor.
