Necromage.

Why do some people think that using the necromage perk is cheating. I would understand if Vampires were OP(Well they are but only NPC's) but vampires have a lot of weaknesses at early levels compared to werewolfs or vanilla characters. It's only fair that later in the game they get a little bit more powerful.

It's a glitch and is not meant to affect the PC themselves but the spells cast upon enemies.

I wouldn't label someone as cheating...really.

Well I wouldn't call it cheating (25% is powerful but not that powerful), but I doubt the devs meant for it work as on the PC like this though. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to fix that in the next patch.

It's a glitch? Maybe that's why some people call it cheating, BTW it wasn't here I read it, it was in a youtube comment. Well glitch or not it makes sense sort of.

Necromage also makes your weaknesses worse so.....equal trade off IMO.

I was inclined to believe it was almost intended at first, but as the game considers nearly everything a spell, then...

e: And a pitiful extra 12.5% fire resist penalty is nowhere near an equal tradeoff for the massive bonuses you can get from it.

It is a glitch, but it's one I think makes the game better. Therefore it should stay and you should use it to your heart's desire. It's like the quest item glitch in Oblivion that allowed you to get permanent enchantments. Was it intended? Hell no. Did it make the game more enjoyable? Hell yes.
