i first character is the one im going to use for the DLC. he is maxed out lvl 81. and i use sneak, one hand sword, bow and arrow and destrution magic with fully enchanted ebony armor.
the enchantments allow his destruction magic to be free, and allows him to regen health, magic and stamina during the day while boosting the atk power of one hand swords and bows.

I hope you can have fun with this, i would find it mind-numbingly boring to walk through a new and exciting area but have it be absolutely dull and uneventful because i have leveled myself so far over the softcap.

Im making one right now. Ill share my thoughts.

Race: High Elf--- Highborn power can get you out of some baad situations and turn it around. Just what a necromage
needs as most of his defence/offense is in spells. Some will argue breton, but its only because of the higher conjuration
start. Two levels into the game it wont matter where you started.

Skill set: I use Destruction, Conjuration, Illusion, Alteration, and some Restoration. Focus on your offensive skill, as you
cant start a dungeon without killing something.

Standing Stone: As much as the Ritual is perfect for Necromage, I use the Mage stone first to up my skills.

Attack Patterns: I usually cast a flesh spell and then have a resurrect spell in my left and an offensive on my right
(bound sword or flame) If you cast flames and hold resurect zombie at the same time both spells automatically release
during kill cams. Thus as soon as your flame spell kills him and the kill cam kicks in, the enemy falls to the ground and
before the kill cam stops, they get hit with the res. spell and get back on his feet. Youll have to see it for yourself.
When fighting mages, shock spells can kill you, as it drains your magicka, invest in shock-proof wear and/or invest in
restoration and wards. Illusion helps if there are lots of enemies and you cant fight them. Cast fury and watch as a
group of bandits go crazy, then res the dead ones and soon all you may have is one last enemy. Also, illusion is a
vampires best trait. I may be forgetting things here, but this is what I go with.

Inventory: Always carry a dagger or backup weapon if your magicka is dead. If you can, invest in apparel that boosts
magicka, regen, and skills that you use. I go with necromancers robes usually, 75% regen, more if you are a vampire
and have the necromage perk. But dont underestimate enchanted boots. I have many-times turned down some Dwarven
Boots of Waning Shock, just because they were heavy armor. Also, pick up stuff for your second in command.

Follower: Choose the roughest toughest follower you can get. You need someone to go agro because if you dont invest in
health, your one hit away from dying at high levels. Give them the best weapons, throw some twohanded weapons on him/her
and heavy armor. Healing hands and similar spells can keep your allies in battle too. As a dark lord necromage, I pretend
Sven is making a deal with the devil to get the girl he loves, lol, it keeps me from thinking i care about love and mushy stuff like
that. haha.

Mine is an Evil imperial Battle-Mage. Using Destruction, alteration and restoration for those perks and healing spells. When fighting mages I will summon a thrall, usually frost or shock to kill them. I have a back up sword aswell with the absorb Magica enchant. I use conjuration a little but not much. I have no perks in it. Also I heavily use a bow. Not a vampire just evil vampire lord.

My Necromancer hates both Daedra and Aedra alike. Thus summoning Atronachs is not an option. He only does Daedric Artifact
quests to hoard power for himself, one day aspires to rule over Tamriel as a Daedric Lord.

i didnt max armor out. i play on master, and while im a godly lvl 81, everything else is maxed out too. i still die.....from time to time....rarely i admit, but it happens.
