Necromancer's Moon

Then it's possible he'll stay away for a game or two. Like how he had no appearance any only passing mention in Morrowind. I'd prefer it if he didn't come back every single game and become a bad joke. He's far too powerful and interesting a personality to become a cliche'.

Agreed. It would purely ruin the fun with Necromancers as he is supposed to be one of the few Necromancers to become so powerful.

Something just popped into my head and then right back out again. The whole reference to the trinity of The Man, The Monster, and The God seems to ring a bell for me somewhere, but I just can't remember what it makes me think of. Possibly something involving the ego and human personality. >_>

maybe id, Ego, Super-ego? With the whole mad godhead thing and such going on, why not...lol

Well it's certainly not impossible for the King of Worms to return again. Reincarnations and such are commonplace in this game universe. Why create new villains when the old ones still have an extra life? After all, there are plenty of mushrooms to pick on Tamriel, and CHIM has a use for those.

Indeed but he would definitly need some more power until next time. Like a new big red mushroom.

Or five

*Imagines Manimarco standing up, as the super mario "1-up" music plays...*

"So, Traven's puppet things I am so easily---"

(Massive crushing blow from giant ebony broad-axe)

*1-up!* floats up over manimarco's head again

"Could you STOP doing that and let me--"

(another crushing blow)

*1-up music chimes again.*

"That's it, I'm done with you now!"

Thinking a bit outside the box here, if the Moon Manimarco was a physical place, wouyld it be possible for people to travel to it and other moons?
Would this be achieved through magical or other means of transportation?

It would have to be magickal. The void of oblivion is "Infinitely deep"

That means the moon is an infinite distance away from nirni.

I've been trying to figure this out since you posted, but I'm even more confused now than I was before...How is this even remotely possible?

becuase it's a dream. Do you really care about the distances that much when you dream? Why should Mad Godhead care?

Also, it is a logical certainty that only an infinite space can hold an infinite realm.

The plane(t)s, moons, and realms are all infinite in size. They appear as bubbles in the greater infinity of the void of oblivion. (Yes, one infinity CAN be larger than another, and one can logically contain another. It is provable mathematically. :) )

This means that if you were to attempt it with a vhekship, Sunbird, or an imperial mananuaght ship--- it would have to be capable of traveling at an infinite velocity, if you EVER wanted to reach your destination, otherwise it would take an infinite volume of time to reach it. :P

TES cosmological physics have so many fun consequences that nobody likes to think about. :P

Aww.. And I didnt even pull out the mathematical proof about one infinity being larger than another... *sigh* Already feeling bewildered...

If you can find your way to the Shivering Isles, it seems totally possible to travel to the GoW's plane.

Well, if that's what it takes. Why is it not feasible to imagine the Order of the Black Worm creating a portal to enter their god's realm (hopping for a land filled with dead corpses and tar pits not doubt).

I'd say that any corpses in GOW's private holiday retreat would already be revived.

Thought I'd post this here. The Full Moon of March is known as 'The Full Worm Moon' in the Native American calendar. Happening right now.

I know this is off topic...but what "Native American" calender? It isn't like the Americas all had one united culture.

And there also happens to be a full moon out...right now 0_0

I was generalizing it. I know each tribal group had a unique culture and calendar to itself. I guess it was some Northeastern tribes that dubbed it The Full Worm Moon.

Humorously, even as I talk about this, I'm ritually turning 20 Grand Soul Gems in the Shade of the Revenant.

It's possible, although you'd probably need a space suit.

uhh, no. I thought weird and I just made it clear how not viable that would be. If you had a spaceship and tried traveling there, it would take an infinite amount of time to reach a plane.

As we said before, you need a direct portal like an Oblivion gate or the one to SI to get to the GoW

Why anyone would actually want to visit the Crypt Lands is beyond me...unless one were a particularly zealous Paladin completely obsessed with eradicating the undead. Or a servant of Meridia. How she must despise the God of Worms.

Yeah. I equate it to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA8zYJ9oPfg to travel instantly to another universe.

EDIT: Hahaha. Wormhole. I love inadvertent puns.
