I need a mod that gives a chance for NPCs to spawn bones in their inventory after they die. Can anyone recommend one?

Why not just make one? It's easy enough. Just create some Leveled Lists with different chances to spawn bones and add the lists to the NPCs you want. What NPCs would these bones be added to, anyway?

I'm not anywhere close to being that good with modding... And I would want it to be all NPCs, with kind of a random chance.

I don't know of any mods that do that, but I could make one. What, specificaly, do you want the bones for? Do you want all NPCs to have the same chance of having bones or do you want some to have a greater chance than others? Do you want the NPCs to have only one bone each, more than one, or a combination?

I'm making an elaborate Necromancy mod over at Craftybits. A beta will be released soon, it will have some skills for browsing corpses for parts. This will have a bit more depth than necromancy mods so far and is created on the base of Stalkers Necromancy with all due credit. Here's a link to the development thread http://thewormhole.nfshost.com/forum/index.php/topic,1549.30.html

That would be awesome, Vyper. I'd be using it for a necromancy mod I have that requires bones for permanent skeleton summons. Preferably all NPCs would have the same chance (about 30-40% if possible), with a combination of one or more than one, but preferably no more than three.

And Dominick, please let me know when the beta is released?

Thanks to both of you in advance

What necromancy mod are you using? I want to make sure that mine is compatible with it.

I'm using The MC's Moriarcis - City of the Dead mod.

Hmm. I can't find it on Nexus. Where did you get it?

Soulstrike- I looked at that one, and its very similar to the one I'm using, except Moriarcis uses a simpler system for the permanent skeletons.
Although, reading through it a bit more I might try it and see if it's compatible with Moriarcis.
Thanks

Vyper- I got it on Nexus. Just search Moriarcis as the title, and only two should come up. Its the first one.

Doesn't MMM also make it where creatures are more likely to spawn with bones in their inventory?

Also....http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1072579&hl=

Additionally one of the spells in the Moriarcis mod actually has a chance of making the enemy affected by it spawn bones when they die.... If I recall correctly.

Indeed, actually if you don't activate any plugin to reduce it MMM puts an insane amount of bone loot(it's nice if you're an archer though because of crafting).

Speaking of necromancy am I the only one that ever wanted a zombie companion? :)
I can imagine all kind of crazy subquests to go with it.
You would start with a basic zombie and could acquire legendary parts to improve it.
For example if you want your zombie to be faster you could rob the tomb of "Harry the human horse" to steal his legs.
Or go kill different specific people to acquire fresh brains to give your zombie different personalities.
Too bad I'm too lazy to do it, and anyway I think it would be too much work mesh-wise.
