I have 2 pages of fusion core because i often change weapons in combat and when re-equip it also select a new core (e.g. using Gatling gun then i need to snipe someone in long range, change to my targeting missle launcher then switch back)

this is becoming annoying that it always equip fresh core instead

I had a list of cores about 20 long all with around 98% power left due to the "grab a full one" mentality of my character.

I hope he doesn't do that with beers as well...everytime he sits one down he pops a fresh one instead of finishing the old one. (lol)

Yeah same as when you enter power armour, if you forget to manually put a pre-used core in it will take a full one. Just getting in drops it to 99, I'd prefer it if it would be set the other way around, to use the lowest charged one by default.
