Need Better Looking Faces

I have been looking past day for a way to make less ugliness in Oblivion. To me NPC and starting races way too ugly. At least if 50/50 is okay but most faces I see are not nice to look at.

I am using FCOM and have choice of Cobl races or Race Balancing Project. So is there a mod which will work with this kind of setup and improve facial appearance for NPC as well as starting races? Also I am using HGEC body with high res textures incase that makes a difference.

By the way I tried to make my own character female better looking but default race starting appearance is so bad that no matter what I try to do she is still so ugly - if I put paper bag over her head it would be an improvement from what am I able to create.

Try using http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5643 in combination with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9534 (install enayla's after IFT) these in combination with http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16843 make for a far less ugly Cyrodiil. :)

Which do you think is better Cobl or RBP? Can a person use both or would that create probs? Also isn't TNR included with bundled in with RBP & Cobl - or do I still need to install it independently?

Cobl is like an RBP light so you can't use both. If you only are after more options for races, hairs, eyes - go for Cobl. If you like the other stuff that RBP does - go for that. Both comes with TNR variants.

That's exaclty what I'm using, except I've recently switched from Enayla to F-IN evOblivion (can honestly not see that much difference, though). Also, using Cobl TNR.

The facial geometry for the default Oblivion races is so odd that it's very difficult to create good-looking characters. It's much easier with some custom races, which have different facial geometry.

If you have a program to move faces around (Face Exchange Lite or Wrye Bash), you could look at http://www.zyworld.com/redwoodtreesprite/Oblivion/Heads/OblivionFacesHome.htm, which has a lot of pre-made faces up for grabs.

No need to load the save game - you can import a face from a save game to your char with Wrye Bash. That's how I do it as I svck at making faces - then I tweak it a bit so it feels unique.

I am an RBP fan all the way, but if you do not like its racial rebalances, use COBL instead.

I am also an IFT fan and an Enayla fan too. However, using navetsea or Ozmo's texture may look nicer with the HGEC body, since the body and face texture would match (better than with Enayla's.)

Edit: I am definitely not a fan of the "make everyone look hot" mods, but there are a number of mods that change NPC faces: Handsome Gents, Younger Hotter NPCs, Beautiful Women (I think is the other mod released by the Handsome Gents author) and there is another one that tries to make more realistic changes, cannot remember the name, and others I cannot recall the names of...

Yes because you only need Bash to import the faces. Leave them deactivated in your load order. I prefer the stand-alone TNR to the versions bundled with RBP and COBL because I do not like seeing NPCs with anime-ic hair...

Thanks for posting your Load Order - any chance you can include easy to follow step by step instructions/guide that goes with it as well? :)
I joke but part of me is serious cause there are too many ways a person can mess things upl: wrong version, wrong install sequence, incompatibilities etc

It would be so nice to choose a load order from an experienced modder and then follow his/her instructions.

Just an idea :)

With TNR I downloaded an OMOD that let you choose which races you wanted, I suggest it to you because you might not like the direction that the author took with some of the races (I wan't a huge fan of the khajiits for example so I didn't use that particular esp).

My installation order (which is my BAIN package list) is already on the site. There are also guides for FCOM, general installation, etc. on the site. Additionally, you can look through the RLO database to see what other users are (successfully and stably) running. I am trying to get more users to upload their load orders, but I cannot rush that process.
