So I got Oblivion about a year before skyrim came out and I used one character throughout that year; a Bosmer. Fast forward a year and I created the same character on Skyrim and I still play it to this day. However for the next elder scroll (whether it be released in 1 year or 5 years) I want to use the same character again. My main issue is, the time period of the next TES game will most likely be beyond the max life span of a Bosmer (I've read that 300 years of age is considered old for the wood elves).


Basically my question is: is there a lore friendly way to extend the lifetime of my character. I know the Bosmer aren't particularly gifted in the arcane arts, but I was thinking more along the lines of a pure bloodline. Perhaps even with the traditions of the green pact dying out, being exceptionally loyal to the pact pleases Y'ffre and he bestows a gift of extended life to you. Just wondering if any of you had an imagination that could help me out.

What if your character has access to a special giant tree in Valenwood where the sap grants long life?


Or some sort of body of water where the water itself grants long life?


You can justify a lot of ideas simply down to Bosmer being Mer, and though not necessarily skilled in the arcane arts, I always feels that Elves have an affiliation with the mysterious magics of Mundus.

Have him die - but be sent back by whichever is "his" deity, to right wrongs, etc. in whatever TES VI hands us for a MQ?

I suppose being descendants of the Aldmer would grant some sort of arcane gift, whether it be specified in skill boosts or not. And I had thought about some sort of tree sap like Brackenleaf (think that's how you spell it) having an effect.
