I'm French, I live in Germany and I don't speak German.
I bought the game on Steam I received a German only version :-/ can't play because I don't understand anything. The text on steam didn't say the game would not be available in other languages. I bought the game again on Direct2Drive same issue it is actually going on steam too ! :-/
Now I bought the game 2 times and i'm unable to play it because I can't read German.

What can I do ?

Have you tried contacting Steam or D2D about this? Perhaps they can "exchange" versions?

Hope you know the German version also gets rid of gore, which i think is lame for you people who live in Germany, yea just ask steam support
