I seen a thing in the creation kit for picking a preferred movement speed for a follower but I can't remember where it was. I need to find it because my follower moves too slow.

I tested it ingame and ran ahead but the follower kept moving at it's default walking speed.

I can't put a slow follower on the nexus.
