I just got done trying to take the big boomer from old lady gibson. I punched her once shot the big boomer out of her hand, then put my weapon away, then fists away walked up to her and hit a and nothing. There doesn't seem to be any way out of combat at that point and I have no idea what to do or what I am doing wrong.

Well I got the big boomer by simply putting my weapon away after shooting it out of her hands, no I can't get the La Longue Carabine from corporal sterling they don't seem to forgive at all.
