OK I've don't the mission to get ballistic weaving got way farther in the game and realized I never got it and anything I do to try to talk to Pam or to tinker Tom I still don't get it anyone figured out how to fix it I have like 24 hours of gaming in between those missions

What I did: Joined the railroad, talked to PAM, did the Railroad Doctor's first mission, talked to PAM again, got a mission to secure a safezone, did that, talked to PAM again, got the DIA Cache quest, did that, turned it in, and then talked to Tinker Tom. Now I can make Ballistic Weave stuff, although there's no notification of it of any sort.

I did all that also still didn't appear for me I finished all the railroad missions all the way up to where you get into the institute

It didn't "appear" for me either, there was no indicator that I'm able to do it now, I just can. Is your Tinker Tom selling Ballistic Weave gear now?

Sadly no and I can't ballistic weave either probably glitched and the worse part is making another character would just svck because I got 48 hours into this character

Worked straight off for me. I did PAM's mission, got stuff from somewhere, Then did Tinkers mission put thing on top of building. Talked to Tinker a few times. He now stocks armoured clothing and I can weave at Armour Workbench.

gotta craft it on your bench.

Maximvs what I'm saying I've done all the things to get ballistic weaver tried modifying multiple types of clothing that was listed thats possible with ballistic weaver still doesn't let me

This is why I wish console commands worked for Xbox so if something glitches you have a chance to fix it

What does wont let me mean?

When your at a armour workbeanch can you select outfits that were not selectable before? Are the weave options there but grayed out?

I get only the normal options like upgrade armor but I can't upgrade clothing like dirty army outfit or hats or any type of clothing although I did do the missions to get ballistic weaving

My guess is that you did not talk to Tinker Tom enough or at the right time. I am still confused as to whether its PAM or Tinkers's missions that trigger it. I complted one of each than had to trigger a converstaion with Tinker twice to get the weave.

They should've made it a reward from finishing a mission so it doesn't mess up and your unable to get it
