» Sun Sep 20, 2015 8:36 pm Firstly, Yes I know my load order is bass ackwards I am in the middle of meddling with everything and havent sorted in a while.
Thus far everything seems to be running pretty smooth as a build but every so often I get a little nagging from scripts and such. What I want to do is figure out how to get the best performance in general. Right now I have my graphics cut down the minimum on everything save view distance. I just cant play the game without being able to see what is ahead of me or behind me... I have a lot of performance patches for textures and what have you (not sure I found them all) and right now im running floral overhaul which seems to be a bit of a hog. I do remember seeing something about a basic version of floral overhaul that was made for performance but that was before my computer died so a lot seems to have changed.
(also I seem to be getting this weird artifacting with low graphics, anyone know how to stop that?)
Beyond graphics im looking for leaner versions of mods to try and cut down on useless scripts and animations. Its nice when everything looks great, especially with ENB stuff but in the end the game is only enjoyable to me if everything works correctly. Also any mods that make animate things static would be good too. Stuff like grass blowing in the wind makes for a good environment but if the NPCs are having a fix because of poor performance what exactly is the point?
Not really sure where to go from here. Im still working on my load order and adding/removing stuff so dont fret over that. So yeah, pros cons suggestions, what ever you think is helpful im sure a lot of people are having the same type of problems.
