Hello everyone,

Like many of you, I couldn't start Raul's Quest because I had already talked to Ranger Andy.
Well I fixed it the way presented in the Wiki,
and it worked quite well.

BUT:

After talking to Loyal, Raul didn't start the last dialogue where I could choose him to
be a gunslinger again, or remain a mechanic.

What can I do to fix this?

Is there a console command that can help?

Please Help.

Just out of curiosity, how does the wiki say to fix the glitch? I had the same problem with Andy and haven't been able to work around it. Sorry I couldn't help.

I'm on the PC and I can't get Raul to talk about Ranger Andy. I don't see anything on the wiki explaining a workaround for this. Can someone please quote the Andy workaround?

u need to talk to 3 people.

u need to talk to ranger andy at novac, loyal at nellis afb and corporal sterling,that old ex-ranger dude who is with 1. recon. you can find sterling at camp mccarren or if you have already completed the quest three-card bounty he'll be at camp forlorn hope. i think you also need to let him finish all the dialogue he starts when he talks to you. so better exhaust all dialogue options in case u unintentionally interrupted one of his quest related lines.

i don't know about a workaround but you can download this file http://tinyurl.com/372xzey ,unzip to data,click "data files" in your launcher window,select "ranger andy fix" or whatever the name was.now launch fn:nv,talk to ranger andy about whatever and the conversation will be triggered

Sorry, but this is my post and my question was, how to get him talk his LAST dialogue.

EVERYONE using a PC and can't get Raul to BEGIN his quest: LOOK into the link I gave ABOVE!
RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING is a console command!
Type it in, talk to Ranger Andy
Walk out of the hut AND WAIT!

Damn. I hate thread-jackers.

Don't talk about Ranger Andy if you don't want him discussed

Also, I'm afraid I may have to use all caps right back at ya to get through:

I DO NOT SEE ANY CONSOLE COMMAND ON THE WIKI REGARDING RANGER ANDY!

I LOOKED AT THE LINK; I SWEAR TO GOD I DID!

PLEASE QUOTE THE SECTION WITH THE RANGER ANDY CONSOLE COMMAND IF YOU WANT ME TO KNOW IT BECAUSE I DO NOT SEE IT!

But honest, I don't think it's on the page you linked. The only console command I see is a moveto command to make Loyal appear, which doesn't help at all with Ranger Andy.

Went there too again today.

It think someone changed the post some time after I read it.

The console commands can now be found in RAUL's entry in the Wiki.
Just scroll to the bottom of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Raul_Tejada. (Workarounds)

BTW I tried all the tips they presented there and I FINALLY WORKED!!!.


My recommandation to fix the quest:

1) set "000e61a5".raulupgrade to 0

2) resetquest 000e61a5

3) set "000e61a5".metrangerandy to 2

4) set "000e61a5".metcorporalsterling to 2

5) set "000e61a5".metLoyal to 2

After this, talk to Raul AND SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DIALOGUE.
There you should be able to let him recap what he wanted to say to you.

After hearing all three stories to the end, he finally talked to me and let me choose "his future".
