I have played elder scrolls on/off for a long time and i really have never been able to immerse myself into the game(s)
I finally deciced to give Skyrim a true commitment of my time since i will b out of work for a few weeks recovering from knee surgery.
I made a Nord and decided i wanted to try a warrior type. I have traditionally played assasins in mmo's (DAOC, RIFT, Guild Ward 2, SWG, etc) Im around lvl 11 and i have specced the following perks (not sure of how much in each) 1-hand, Shield, Heavy Armor, Smith, archery.
I have read, and re-read a ton of posts and although i understand i can truly play as i like, i wish to be efficient my first run thru. I believe the common thinking is to spec Shield OR heavy armor.. never both. I just pictured my warrior w a sword/shield and using a bow to pull or take out one or 2 NPC's before i get ganged up on... and if i do the heavy armmor could take the dmg. I now feel im spreading myself to thin
I am just looking for a general direction in how to spec my new nord. This is literally my first time playing this game past level 5 (i must have 5 or 6 assasin types)I want to be able to deal out some damage but not get 1-hit either. Can anyone recomend a build for me? i was even thinking alchemy or restoration... alchemy more because i can make some poison's as well as heal pots.
Thanks for any and ALL advice!!
