Need help installing wrye mash please

Post » Tue Apr 05, 2011 8:38 pm

Like I said in the title and description I can't seem to be able to make the wrye mash work. I followed the instructions in the readme and changed the paths to the new morrowind directory and python 26 but it just won't start. Please help.

This is the bugdump

Do you use the shortcut of mash.py, which you find under Mopy? You have to use that one.It is called "Wrye Mash for Python 2.5"
And you have to change the paths into the shortcut, not that of the py file.

Did you look at mash.ini?

"Windows Error: [Error 5] Access is denied: "C:\\Program Files\\Bethesda Softworks" looks like a permissions problem to me. What version of Windows are you running? Vista or 7 may be giving you issues if you are not running as Administrator and all that jazz.

 I can't believe this was so easy. I always forget that sometimes I have to run as admin some applications. Thank you :foodndrink:

Ah ok, I thought my solution was wrong, hence the edit.

Good that it worked.
