I need help making a female Breton

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:03 am

So I'm trying to make a female Breton mage that will also be a vampire. Problem is I'm having a hard time making a "pretty" Breton haha. Can anyone give me some tips? I'm on xbox, so no mods...

What i did with my mage is model her after the comic book character Kitty Pryde. I do that with most characters. It is easier to sculpt when you have a good subject. hope that helps. a problem i found with females is getting the jaw right, so i tend to make them more pointy and make their cheek bones defined.

Well first understand that there is no perfect looking character. So if your expecting pretty don't set your standards too high. I kinda like the fact you actually have a real looking character.

for a quick, easy, conventionally beautiful appearance, set all of the sliders controlling the shape and size of a feature to the middle and slide all of the textures to the left. This will give you a well-proportioned character with a good complexion. This can serve as a good template for making changes. You'll still have to pick an appealing nose, eyes, and lips, but leaving all of your sliders in the middle will generally eliminate odd stretching. For some people, this will be enough. This works with all races.

Until they do something about the frowny forehead syndrome(maybe in the dawnguard DLC :goodjob: ) you're a bit stuck I'm afraid. But Louise is correct about the sliders.

I think they should have gone with a mass effect system for this. Being able to look at a bunch of pictures and then easily able to recreate was nice. I'm really not good at messing with the sliders and getting anything decent with them. I did get lucky and create a bitty nord.

I'm on PS3, so I can't provide any screen shots, but I think my female Breton is pretty. Not "top model" pretty, more "girl next door" pretty. I used the first female preset (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-race-Breton.jpg),
changed her lips, nose, probably her eyes (this was a few months ago so I don't remember the details), and messed around to make her face a little rounder and "softer". Gave her a scar, but not the ugliest one. Kept the haircut, but I think it's a shade more red. Body almost the "biggest", so she's quite curvy and looks hot in Forsworn Armor ;)
(I actually think that preset is pretty even without modifications.)

I have female breton mage.

Best advice is to use some hair that obscures that awful forehead.

I also used the facepaint that goes just around the eyes and turned it black. With dark eyeliner, black hair and bright blue eyes she looks pretty good imo.

Wish we had a screenshot function on consoles..
