Need help - New character!

Post » Sat Mar 16, 2013 8:51 pm

I was planning on making a Mage kind of character... I have no idea how to play one as I have never ever touched one in the past... The closest was an Illusion Rogue which smashed everything on Master level.

I have tried a Warrior and loved it.. But now I wish to be more sophisticated.. A Mage is better! But I'd like to create my own build...

The Witch!
I'd like the community help me build this class.. I'd like it to be in the Dark Arts as all Witches are in fairy tale / fantasy books and stories ! :)

I was thinking for my choices.

Skills:
- Destruction (Fire or Frost)
- Alteration
- Enchanting
- Alchemy
- Speech, so I can lure people and children to my cauldron ;) !

Armor:
I was thinking Hooded Black Mage Robes? .. As I think this is the closest I'd get to a Witches outfit..

I was going to go Imperial Female. No idea about the name or anything.

I was going to go with the College of Winterhold, The Bards College in Solitude and maybe the Companions... I've no idea.. And most likely the Dawnguard as I can't be bothered with all the Vampire high maintenance (I've completed both Dawnguard and the Vampire quest lines). I may also orientate a dagger into my play for Role Playing reasons.

Help me build this class with your suggestions please :D

Thanks x

Found this build, looks similar.

That website has many more interesting builds.

Perhaps a Breton would be better? boosts and resistance to magicka helps. And they have a strong history of having witches covens etc... there is actually a great book in game about that. Not sure if its skyrim.
