Need HELP please!!!

Hi all, I'm a pc noob so anyone who is a hardware expert, please help me out.

I run both the dx11 and hi-Rez pack. In some area, I got decent frame rates (40-70), but in most fighting scenes outdoor, I got really poor frame rates like 16-30. Please let me know if it's normal. How can i improve it? Should I use 2 more gb ram? Any professional advice is welcome and appreciated.

My specs are:
Core i7 930 2.8 ghz
6 gb Ram
1x GTX 480 (driver: 275.33)

Game setting:
1600x1200
All Ultra
Dx11 enable
Hi-Rez enable
Motion blur high

I think it's normal. Though 480 is quite powerful, running Ultra in DX11 with Hi-Rez in this game requires more than one card unless it's something like a GTX590. Check this: http://www.guru3d.com/article/crysis-2-dx11-vga-and-cpu-performance-benchmarks/8

I'm using i7-870 @ 3.62GHz (mild overclocking), 4GB RAM @ 1640MHz (9-9-9-24), GTX480 @ 830MHz, display @ 1680x1050.

Nowadays I only play multiplayer, so I go with DX9, disable Hi-Rez, and "Very High" setting. My frame-rate with that setting would be around 90-130.

Oh forgot to mention: If you are going to overclock your GTX480 and if it uses stock cooler, you need to watch the temperature! 480 is like one of the hottest GPUs on Earth, I think. I personally got a Gelid Icy Vision Rev.2, so with this overclock (1.125v), my max. temp in Crysis 2 is about 71C.

You might be overheating, I think that causes the GPU to throttle its speed does it?
