So, I walked In to the Whiterun Mead Hall or whatever, and Uthgerd the Unbroken attacks me for no reason.
So I had to put her down.
And then I entered a random house In Whiterun, just out of curiosity.

And this nord named (something) Grey-Mane keeps trying to kill me, for no reason.
Luckily, I have Aela with me at all times, and she must have put him down sixty times now.
But he just gets back up, even after I try to deal a final blow. Oh, and the streets are littered with guard bodies.
Yeah, he killed them all too. Is there anything I can do? I tried reloading a prior saved game, but It won't stop.

I'd rather not start the game over, and even then, It might happen again.
Any help whatsoever is appreciated!

are you on a PC, xBox or PS3?

eh, not sure if your done for. Maybe leave Whiterun for severl in game days and try going back?

I'm going to go try that out, but I doubt It will.
The guy is hacking away at me in every corner I slip into.

I have a similar problem. I had to put down the owner of the Drunken Huntsman earlier today after he attacked me as soon as I stepped into his store. I let him beat on me for a little bit. I tried a Calm spell and Kyne's Peace shout. Neither worked. So I brought him out into the street hoping a guard would take him away or somthin. Finally, I executed him in front of everyone and no one cared. One guy even said, "Hey! Don't leave your junk just layin around." What really svcks though is that now that shop is forever closed to me.

I waited three in-game days outside of Whiterun, and voila.
Now the same guy is offering me a quest.
I'm sure It's a glitch of some kind.
But I hope It gets fixed, I wanted Uthgerd to live...

You should try doing what Spite suggested...
It worked for me, so It should work for mortal NPCs as well.

Gray mane is a quest Character so maybe he can't be killed, go so the old woman in the
market area and talk to her she tell you to meet her at her house, so the guards don't hear you talking.

No wonder I couldn't kill him. :confused:
Said quest just started once he ended his killing spree.
