I really hope this is the right place for this. I apologize if this isn't.

My Problem:

I would like to create a child to adopt and/or have him as a possible follower, but I'm getting nowhere fast. I've managed to make the boy and here is what I've done so far:

- Started Creation Kit

- Selected Hearthfires as the Master

- Created the boy & imported his .NPC

- Placed BYOHRelationshipAdoptableFaction set to -1 to his list of factions (I assumed that was what I needed, since the other children had that)

- Saved & Started Skyrim

When I talk to him, there is only the option to whistle at him (which is from a horse mod). When that way failed to work, I went about setting him up the same way I did my follower, but I cannot talk to him at all now, though he does say things when I stand next to him.

I know I'm doing something wrong here, so If someone could please help me figure out how to make this work, I would be crazy grateful.
