Hey guys, I've been trying to get a modded Service Rifle that has a silencer I modeled as a test into the game, it works, however, I don't see the silencer or anything I've changed about the weapon mesh itself unless I drop the gun or give it to a follower. To clarify, I can see the silencer (or anything else I changed for that matter) on the gun in the GECK and when I drop it or give it to an NPC, But not when my character holds it. It seems to default to the original model.
Am I somehow editing a world model or something that's not used by the PC? I'm also thinking it might be the way I'm doing it in blender/nifskope, which is just join the silencer/the gun itself together, export and copy/paste the new NiTriStripData over the "BattleRifle:0" NiTriStripsData from the original mesh. I even tried making it it's own object but that doesn't work at all. Sorry if this seems confusing

Any ideas on how to fix this? By the way, I did try the search bar. (And Google
