Alright, I've started up a new character and was in the clear, everything was going well. Now, I'm finally going to get the device to repair the Poseidon Oil place in Gecko, BUT, after talking to McClure, I can't choose to talk about repairing the plant. So, I loaded a saved game before I even talked to McClure about Gecko, went to the town and talked to that Glowing ghoul about the plant. After that, I went back to Vault City, talked to McClure, but he won't give me the option to talk about repairing the plant.

I'm really ticked off because I need to become a citizen (Even if you have 10 Intelligence or take a bunch of Mentats before taking the test, YOU STILL FAIL THE TEST, so don't give me any crap that you somehow passed it) in order to get the info about Vault 13. Since the only way I know of getting info and the location is through the Vault City computers.

I was in Vault City not to long ago, I dont remember passing that test, there are other ways to become a citicican, but you will need to ask around.

Did you take off your armor, and show your vault suit?

Try talking to Lynette and see if she can help you out, although she'll want you to kill the ghouls.

Talk to Harold at Gecko about the plant, then you should be able to talk to mclure.

Ahh..-, and I passed a test once by using Mentats to boost my Int. to 10 but I think, that my Luck (I played a 10 Luck Character) played also a role.

Make sure you have first spoken to Lynette, then Harold, then McClure.

Are you fully patched?



You need very high Luck, Perception and Intelligence.
