I'm at my limit with these mod managers. I need help choosing one or solving my issues. Okay so all I am trying to do is install mods for Fallout 3 but by the time I get into my 6th or so mod I have so many problems with the mod managers that I have to go back and troubleshoot for hours. First I tried using Nexus Mod Manager like Gopher uses on his tutorials. However, NMM for Fallout 3 and New Vegas is broken. Completely unusable for me. Random Crashes, weird errors, uninstalling and installing issues. So next I tried using FOMM. I first tried the FOMM that is a combination of Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But was having crashing problems when trying to add fomods. So I switched to the standalone Fallout 3 FOMM. I thought it was working fine but after I got into it a lot of FOMODS were not installing correctly and causing me a lot of crashing issues. Running out ideas I decided to try out Wry Bash for Fallout 3. I really like it but i'm having a few problems with it. First it does not recognize installers or FOMODS so how am I supposed to install the correct version of a mod if it just installs all of the files. For example, what if I want to use the Unified Hud Project with Wry Bash but I can't because it will just install everything. Another thing is that it doesn't install things if they're in sub folders. Like if I had the entire folder of FWE Part 1 in a folder called FWE Part 1 and put it in WB. It wouldn't install it. Maybe I'm just too inexperienced with WB and someone can help me. But at this point I'm having so many issues I feel like it would actually be easier just to install everything manually. Cheers, Audley.
Edit: I do run all programs as an administrator. Also, I have Steam installed in the default directory so do you think that could be an issue?
