Need help with a pesky imagespace issue

CoT imagespaces are not working properly in my Real Shelter mod. Vanilla weather and imagespaces work fine.

Background: Real Shelter provides shelter under covered areas when it rains or snows and turns on locally placed rain/snow effects. It does this by detecting rainy/snowy weather forms and replacing them with no-precipitation versions. The no-precip form versions are duplicates of the original forms with no precipitation. The imagespaces are also the same.

So when entering shelter during CoT rain/snow the weather transitions to the no-precip version correctly, but the imagespace does not. As you can imagine this is quite noticeable, especially at night. In an effort to work around this I duplicated the imagespaces and assigned them to the no-precip weathers. Still no luck. It seems the imagespace keeps reverting to default when shelter is entered even though they exist in the CK and are assigned to the no-precip weather forms correctly.

I've been talking with the CoT author and he is also stumped by this.

Any ideas or suggestions?
