Okay, coming back into oblivion for what seems like ages. I have a character design that I wanna try out and I am asking the community what good places to go, who to join, etc etc.
Okay the character. Dark elf named Malekai Da'Goth. He just arrived to cyrodill to further his study of alchemy. He starts off as a I guess nuetral good character to where his main focus is on finding and experimenting with potions and poisens and will help people if he's interupted. Eventually thru exlloring and seeing the effects of his potions and poisens that he becomes curious about the mortal body. He agrees to go thru gates not for the sake of good and righteousness but for the chance to gather new plant life and examine the bodies of daedra. Eventually he will turn into necromancy and start becoming obcessed with the process of mortality and how the body works in that he will eventually become a vampire, at first to examine first hand the effects of the desease and then to accept for prolonging his life to further his studies. Of course thru the events he goes from kinda good to pretty crazy and evil in the actual actions he takes. He wony consider himself evil, his actions will be for the furtherment of knowledge to usher in the shivering isles dlc. I may have him do knights of the nine to have his appetite of the mortal body really kick in after he mets mr pen.

So that's the overall theme. Was thinking of joining the brotherhood and mage guild of course.

Any advice on builds, other factions to join, areas to avoid, etc etc. Preciate the help.
