my idea:- Spawn NPCs to make a shield wall formation (using tc to move them to position, and then use tai and tcai to freeze them in formation). Then use Extensible Followers Framework to get a group of followers riding horses (using convenient horses mod) to charge at them (using horseman mod which lets pc and npc do a couched lance charge).. I could just get my followers and charge at the npc, but that would mean the cavalry would be all scattered around with no cohesive formation. I wanted to make it look like a real battle where the cavalry is disciplined and in full formation. My plan was to do this by manually controlling each horserider using the tc commmand and freeze them using tai and tcai at some distance in front of the infantry shield wall formation. That means the moment the screenshot is to be taken would be at the moment just before the charge hit home.
My problem is that when i use tc on a test follower, i could not control her and she wouldn't even draw her weapon when i drew mine. I could control the horse though and make it move along with the rider, i could make do with that; only if the follower would draw her stupid weapon. So, now i'm at a total loss.. you guys have any ideas?? a better solution? please help me out?? if i could get this thing off the ground, i'm planning to make screenshot-reenacment of the civil war the way i would've liked it.. complete with full scale pitch battles scenes, siege battles, ambush scenes and many more. My only hurdle is the cavalry.
