For some stupid reason, Serana reanimated every corpse I could use to finish the "Discerning the Transmundane" and I'm having to find alternate sources for Mer blood. I've figured out a way to get all the different races but Bosmer. I can't remember any quest in the game that had any Bosmer in it. So, if anyone can provide me a Bosmer I can kill that isn't a shopkeeper or the like, I'd appreciate it very much.

I may get lucky and find one of the random Wood Elf skooma dealers, but they probably won't show up again till after I finish this stupid quest.

Bandit Camps around Whiterun. Tell Serana to wait somewhere.

Bosmer will sometimes appear in bandit attacks. That may be your best bet.

I would try for a random bandit before killing a named npc. However, if there is no other choice then I would suggest the Bosmer woman who works at the Pelagia farm.

See, that's my main problem. I really don't want to just kill an innocent Bosmer. Other than that time I did a little ethnic cleansing, and commited a Bosmer genocide in Morrowind, which was all Gaenor's fault, I really don't have anything against them. Its hard to find a bad Wood Elf. Other than Gaenor that is. Or the Adoring Fan.

If your'e willing to go through another daedric quest there is a Bosmer that isn't innocent that you could kill, the boss at the end of Peryite's quest. You could also check out Liar's retreat, there is guaranteed to be a dead Bosmer there.

There are a few.

1. If you are Dark Brotherhood, you will get a quest against Anoriath in Whiterun.

2. At the end of MQ Diplomatic Immunity, Malborn is likely to get killed by a troll. You can't possibly have Serana with you during this. (You might also have Brelas, the waitress, as an option if you used Erikur's distraction.)

3. If you're Volkihar, you can hold off until you kill the Dawnguard; Beleval is a Bosmer.

4. Orchendor is the boss of Bthardamz (during Peryite's quest.)

5. If you're NOT Volkihar, you can go to Redwater Den; the dealer who rents out the skoomasmoke rooms is a Bosmer. Skooma dealers aren't exactly innocent... (Edit: Apparently she respawns, so you could go back there as a Volkihar after the respawn.)

Otherwise, you can try the Hostile NPC on a Horse encounter that usually spawns east of Fort Dawnguard near the unreachable gate, or look for skooma dealers (20% chance of Bosmer, Argonian, and Khajiit; 40% chance of Orc.) Archer-type Bandits have a decent chance to be wood elves, also.

Bandits. They are not hard to find.

You're guaranteed to find a Mer of every type except Altmer in Liar's Retreat.
