I was wondering I'm doing a Viking/Norse Raider character build and right now I'm wearing full Leather Armor and what I was trying to figure out is what shield would look best. I'm using an Imperial Light Shield right now it looks good but its to small making it a good sparing shield but terrible shield for blocking arrows. So anyone know of a shield that would look good with leather armor and also be big enough that I can block arrows? Thank you.

Which can be found deep in the Dwarven City Alftand in the possession of a Redguard called Umana. Happy bludgeoning!

I can only assume you mean for RPing purposes as shield size doesn't have anything to do with success of deflecting any incoming damage.

However, The Shield of Ysgramor is a big svcker and a great shield to have. A banded Iron isn't really that small either.

Definitely the Targe of the Blooded.

Maybe the Hide Shield.

I think any of the round shields are a good choice. Hide, Iron, Banded Iron, Steel...

A tower shield or the other shapely ones don't exactly scream Viking.

Jes is right. Viking's used round shields and formed shield walls similar to what the Spartan's were known for.

I would think anything round. Targe of the Blooded is perfect. Until you can get it, use an iron shield or perhaps the shield from a hold guard if you can get it. The guards use what looks like a wooden shield and, to me, that fits the part. The Shield of Solitude would be cool and probably looks good with leather armor.
