need lots of info about implants

I have the official stragety guide. so that tells me what faction you need to get implants.

but i was wondering what the earliest point in the game to get implants is.

also wondering what kind of implants there are, how much they cost. how to get to the location they are at.

and importantly to me, how to get the followers of apocalypse and ncr to team up, cause i plan on trying to get good with both factions.

wish i would have put more in the title of this post.

but i have been searching and i can't figure out what factions oppose what factions ,besides legion hating ncr, ncr hating powder gangers.

i wnat to plan out what factions i can get in good with without starting a huge war LOL
but so far i absolutly want the followers and ncr for sure

You can get implants once you reach the Strip and have enough money to pay for them. The place is not at the Strip, but just outside of it. For most people, this is after the first act of the MQ. There is no faction requirement for them. They are all useful, except for the one that regens your health, it is expensive and not that useful. Pick which ever ones that help your SPECIAL set up the most.

I think that the regen implant with Solar Powered go great together.

This is the first time I've heard of this...can you get multiple implants or just one?

It depends on your Endurance. The amount of points you have in Endurance equals the amount of Implants you can have. The Endurance Implant does not raise the number of Implants you can get.

It's nice to have though if you have loads of spare caps (like if you have high barter, are a successful gambler, or through careful use of the jury rigging perk), especially on hardcoe mode, since it means you actually regenerate some health by waiting, sleeping, or fast traveling. It may be worth it to consider this over one of the SPECIAL-boosting implants - perception for instance is largely a dump stat, if you have PER 6 there's practically no reason to bump it up one more.

The health implant is kinda useful in Dead Money, if you're patient. When supplies are short, duck into a place the cloud doesn't touch, so you're not losing health, and just chill. Have a snack or something while you slowly regenerate health to conserve stimpacks for when you need them.

This.

It's right outside of the back entrance of the Crimson Caravan Company.

It's the NCR medical building I believe, something along those lines but yes next to the caravan company. There is a quest that starts at camp mcarran that leads you to the building. You need to let a Dr know that someone wants to talk to her. That Dr is the one you buy the implants from

Its the New Vegas Clinic, it has no connection to the NCR but it is run by the Followers of the Apocalypse.
