In need of 44 mag. : Fallout 3

My new character is about to enter the Broken Steel DLC and he's in need of some more 44 rounds for his Lincoln's repeater. Who sells a good supply of said ammo? Flak and Shrapnel don't seem to have a sufficient amount.

The scoped 44 magnum at the moment is my favorite gun to blow away raiders. When i need ammo for it i visit all sellers rivet city, megaton, tenpenny tower, and others. Also i don't know about anyone else but i have been finding alot of raiders that have been carrying 44 ammo so if you know of a place infested with many raiders kill them all and scavenge their bodys.

tulip? i think her name is, in underworld sells quite a bit, you can invest in lucky harrith to increase the amount he sells, and if you have the pit you can just use the ammo press. otherwise the only ammo boxes that have any are one outside vault 106 in a camper, inside the broken bow in rivet city, and thats all i can think of.

If Sydney has made it to where she goes after you help her, she sells buttloads of .44 ammo each time. Upwards of 50 rounds per visit.

Just use another gun in the meantime and before you know it, you′ll have more .44 than there are muties for!

Me too. I was in desperate need of 5mm ammo a short while ago. But I very, very quickly went from about 300 rounds to over 5000! And I lived as I learn; I used another gun in the meantime

i got like 500+ rounds, save up all your other ammo and when you enter and finish The Pitt use the ammo press to make some.

yeah, or if you need a good alternative and have point lookout, the backwater rifle is better, it only does five damage less but uses 10mm rounds, but has a x5 crit chance multiplier only problem is its harder to repair, unless you have merchants
