Fans of the elder scrolls will always love the series. Now that next gen is out, and fallout is going to get mods, it would be the perfect time to remaster Morrowind, Oblivion, and even Skyrim on next gens. Moreover with the addition to mods, it could even be more beneficial to not upgrade the graphics too much on Skyrim. This wouldn't require too much work as the games are already created. This would interest not only fans of the series, but if mods were added it would greatly spark the interest of console players that don't have access to mods on 99% of their other games (fallout 4? Been waiting..), and add interest to people who haven't had the chance to play the old games/the series at all.

This is a great idea, I don't know why they haven't already done it, I would buy an Elder Scrolls Anthology on my Xbox one, and I certainly would play Oblivion and Skyrim on it.

Please.

Only if the anthology contains arena, daggerfall, redgaurd, battlespire, morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim all goty edition. If theres going to be an anthology edition it needs all elder scrolls games period I'm sick of people only starting at morrowind!

There's already ESO on next gen which is pretty good at the moment - a lot better than the 2014 release and the sub was scrapped last year in favour of buy to play and DLC - and has a lot to do, though that needs PS+/Xboxlive. Having the others on next gen would be nice, but a lot more work than you think. Also, the source of Arena and Daggerfall were supposedly lost, so they can't easily port those two, which already would require significant work to get them up-to-date)

I just want a Skyrim re-release, I would be soooo happy would play until next ES easily. And quite honestly its feels like one of there more "complete" games, the amount of gameplay and questing was sheer greatness that I would gladly pay again for. Do you hear me Bethesda I will not embrace the great darkness.

Remasters are really not needed. I'd be happy with just a simple backwards compadibility. That's all I want.

Bethesda games on the PS3 might need a remaster because they are broken and Sony refuses to add backwards compatibility . The XB1 just needs backwards compatibility
